Clark Wood are currently recruiting for a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) to join a highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in East Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CTA qualified tax professional, or someone nearing qualification, looking to progress their career within a supportive and growing practice.
You will work with a varied portfolio of private clients, owner-managed businesses and SMEs, delivering high-quality tax compliance, planning and advisory services while working closely with Partners and the wider tax team.
As a Chartered Tax Advisor, your responsibilities will include
- Managing a portfolio of personal and/or corporate tax clients.
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Providing tax planning and advisory support to individuals and businesses.
- Assisting Partners with complex tax assignments and projects.
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Supporting junior members of the tax team where required.
The successful candidate will ideally have
- CTA qualification or be close to completion.
- Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice tax team.
- Strong knowledge of Personal Tax, Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax.
- Excellent technical, communication and client management skills.
- A proactive and commercially aware approach.
