This is an outstanding opportunity for a Director or Partner level candidate to join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in Bridgend. The Director or Partner would be adding their experience and knowledge to an established General Practice/Accounts department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a significant portfolio of large, technically complex SMEs and OMBs from a range of industry sectors.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts process, including budgets and timescales.
- Lead a team of all levels, from trainee to manager.
- Ensure the success of the department while managing client relationships, winning work, and developing your team.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs.
- Provide clients with a personal and tailored service for both day-to-day compliance and advisory projects.
- Responsible for day-to-day staff planning, ensuring the right level of technically qualified staff are booked on to client work for the appropriate amount of time.
- Carry out review work on accounts and other assignments prepared by Managers and team members.
- Engage in business development activities and win work by proactively managing existing clients and targeting new clients.
- Involvement in formal and informal pitching procedures.
Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA Qualified.
- Up-to-date technical knowledge (UK GAAP, IFRS’s, ISAs, Companies Act legislation).
- 10+ Years Practice Experience.
