A growing firm in Blackburn is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their team. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who can manage audits from planning through to completion, support junior staff, and build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all audit sections on smaller, less complex audits, from planning through to completion.
  • Allocate work to junior team members, clearly explaining objectives and methods.
  • Review the work of junior staff to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Manage complete audit sections on larger audits, including complex areas such as stock, deferred tax, and related party transactions.
  • Complete planning sections and prepare going concern reviews.
  • Act as the main point of contact for smaller audits, resolving client queries efficiently.
  • Prepare high-quality analytical reviews and more complex tax computations.
