Audit & Accounts Senior in Brierley Hill

The successful person will join a firm known for providing an excellent platform for each of their team member's personal progression and development.
Working as an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors. You will be client-facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, assisting in their development.
The role will see you leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion on a range of clients including group structured entities and large stand-alone limited companies as well as the preparation and review of year-end accounts and corporation tax returns.
The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified or at the final stages of their studies and will have experience of leading audit assignments. The firm can offer a competitive salary along with hybrid working and a steady platform to progress into a Client Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare the audit plan and ensure it appropriately addresses audit objectives
- Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
- Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
- Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
- Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
- Year-end accounts preparation for limited companies
