This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and detail-focused audit professional to take ownership of assignments from planning through to completion, mentor junior staff, and build strong, lasting client relationships within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.
The Role
- Lead audit assignments for smaller and medium-sized clients from planning to completion.
- Take responsibility for key audit sections on larger engagements, including complex areas such as stock, deferred tax and related party transactions.
- Prepare audit planning documentation, analytical reviews and going concern assessments.
- Review the work of junior team members, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on smaller audits, resolving queries efficiently and professionally.
- Prepare high-quality, and where required, more complex tax computations.
About You
- Experienced in managing audits within a practice environment.
- Confident leading and motivating junior staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credible client relationships.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Professional, commercially aware, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and projects effectively.
