Audit & Accounts Senior

Clark Wood are currently working with a nationally renowned firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add an Audit & Accounts Senior to their team in Nottingham. This prestigious and leading firm have a fantastic reputation for delivering excellent levels of client service and they are now looking to add an ambitious individual to the team who is keen to progress their career with a well renowned firm.

As an Audit & Accounts Senior your role will see you leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion on a range of clients including group structured entities and stand-alone limited companies as well as the preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and corporate tax returns. You will be client facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified or Part Qualified and will have recent experience of undertaking a mixed audit and accounts position. Experience of leading audit assignments is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Leading audit assignments from planning to completion
• Preparation and review of year-end accounts
• Preparation of corporation tax returns
• Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
• Liaising confidently and effectively with clients

Skills:

• ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist
• Experience of leading Audit assignments
• Practice experience is essential
