An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join a well-established and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants based in West London. This is a fantastic role for a part-qualified ACA / ACCA professional looking to gain exposure to a high-quality client base, develop technically, and progress within a supportive and collaborative environment. The Role
You will work across a mixed portfolio of audit and accounts clients, supporting Seniors and Managers while developing your own technical and client-facing skills. Key responsibilities will include:
- Audit: Assisting on audit assignments from planning through to completion, leading sections of audit fieldwork both on-site and in the office, preparing audit working papers and supporting documentation, liaising directly with clients to gather information.
- Accounts: Preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105, preparing management accounts, assisting with group accounts (where applicable), preparing corporation tax computations (desirable).
- General: Supporting and liaising with senior team members, developing client relationships, ensuring deadlines are met.
Client Base
You will gain exposure to a broad and interesting client portfolio, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, property companies, professional services firms, FCA-regulated entities, and group structures.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified (or equivalent)
- 1.5 – 4 years’ experience within practice
- Audit experience is essential
- Experience preparing statutory accounts
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
