Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established and highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior / Senior to join their growing team in Alton.
The Role
You will work with a varied portfolio of business and personal clients, with responsibilities including:
- Preparing accounts and tax returns
- Completing bookkeeping and payroll work
- Liaising with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
- Supporting the wider team with general practice assignments
- Identifying opportunities to support and develop client relationships
About You
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT (ACA / ACCA trainees and QBE candidates also considered DOE)
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong accounts preparation and bookkeeping skills
- Good communication and client relationship skills
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and able to manage your own workload
- Positive team player with a willingness to learn and develop
- Keen to build a long-term career within accountancy practice
