Clark Wood have been instructed by one of the region\’s most respected professional services firms to recruit an ambitious and driven Accounts Client Manager to join their local Henley on Thames office.
The role is a significant recruit for the firm and genuinely offer the successful candidate the chance to progress into a Senior figure within the firm.
Are you currently working as an Accounts Senior/ Supervisor or Assistant Manager and want to progress? Or are you an experienced Client Manager at a small independent firm looking to add to your CV and technical accounting knowledge?
As a Client Manager you will be responsible for the management of a diverse portfolio of small-medium business clients and will act as first point of contact to those clients on behalf of the firm. You will be charged with ensuring the efficient and accurate completion of the year-end accounts process for each of your clients through the preparation, review and finalisation of statutory accounts as well as preparing for each year-end accounts meeting thoroughly.
You will assist in the development of junior staff through delegating work to them, reviewing it once completed and being on hand to assist and offer guidance where required.
The Henley on Thames office is commutable from areas all across Berkshire, Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire, Oxford, Reading, Thame etc.
The ideal candidate for the role will be ACA / ACCA Qualified and will have relevant and recent experience of working within a Business Services or Accounts focused role in practice (individuals at the latter stages of their studies will also be considered). Prior experience of managing a portfolio of clients would be beneficial however it is not essential.
