Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a leading independent firm of accountants in Swindon who are looking for a strong Accounts and Audit Senior Manager to join their growing team. They are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to lead and manage a portfolio of clients with a particular emphasis on charities, not-for-profits, and SMEs.

The work will involve management of the portfolio of audit clients with a view to becoming an employee RI with a portfolio of clients, and progression to full Directorship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a varied portfolio of audit and accounts clients, with a primary focus on NFP/charity and SME clients.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audits in line with relevant standards.
  • Review statutory accounts and ensure compliance with UK GAAP, SORP (Charities), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, developing strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Monitor workflow, budgets, and resource allocation across engagements.
