Are you an Audit Corporate Services Manager at a Mid-Tier or Large Regional Firm looking for swift career progression and an ambitious firm? One of Berkshire's most respected accountancy firms is currently looking to recruit into their Auditing team. As an Audit Manager, you will report to the General Practice/Audit Partners and work with the Senior Managers running the department. Renowned for their flexible and interpersonal approach to business, our client is seeking an ambitious Audit Manager to join their well-established team in Reading.

This regional Reading practice offers excellent corporate exposure, from OMBs to AIM-listed clients, with opportunities to progress into a senior manager or partner designate within 2-3 years. The role involves managing a varied portfolio of clients across different business activities, sizes, and structures. The split of responsibilities is approximately 70% audit.

Responsibilities:
  • Fully supervise a portfolio of clients
  • Provide general business advice to clients
  • Conduct staff appraisals

The Reading office is accessible from areas across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, and Buckinghamshire, including Newbury, Oxford, Slough, Basingstoke, Bracknell, and Farnborough.

Requirements:
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA

This role is suitable for candidates with relevant UK accountancy practice experience. Please note, we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this position.
