We are looking for a talented and motivated Personal Tax Assistant Manager to join a newly formed, collaborative team in Cardiff. In this role, you will oversee the preparation and review of personal tax returns, manage junior staff, and ensure full compliance with UK tax regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency, using advanced technology and digital tools to streamline processes and improve accuracy. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and inspire team members, supporting their development and aligning performance with business objectives

- Ensure compliance with all technical, quality, and risk frameworks

What We’re Looking For
- A relevant accountancy and/or tax qualification (e.g. ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA), or qualified by experience
- Strong knowledge of technical and professional standards in personal tax
- Proven ability to support and develop colleagues through training and mentoring
- Experience reviewing tax computations and ensuring compliance
- Confidence in developing bid and pricing proposals for non-complex work
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
