Corporate Tax Senior|Sheffield | £DOE
Clark Wood are currently working with a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice who are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior to join their tax team in Sheffield.
The Role
You will take responsibility for a portfolio of corporate tax clients, with responsibilities including:
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
- Preparing CT61 returns and associated documentation
- Liaising directly with HMRC on tax queries and compliance matters
- Managing client deadlines and ensuring compliance obligations are met
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting advisory work
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and professional standards
- Supporting a range of corporate tax projects and assignments
About You
- ATT / CTA student preferred (QBE also considered DOE)
- Previous corprate tax experience within a practice environment
- Strong corporation tax compliance knowledge
- Experience preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
- Knowledge of CT61 returns would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive approach to professional development and CPD
