Clark Wood is working with a well-regarded independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Droitwich, who are expanding their Personal Tax team and seeking a motivated Semi Senior or Senior to join their growing practice. This role is suitable for a candidate studying towards ATT or CTA with a few years’ personal tax experience, or qualified by experience (QBE). You will work closely with a Tax Partner and be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Prepare tax returns covering employment, self-employment, investment, rental income, overseas income, and capital gains
- Report directly to a Tax Partner and provide high-quality compliance work
Candidate Requirements
- ATT/CTA student or qualified by experience
- Previous experience in personal tax within a UK accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
