Accountancy & Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a highly reputable regional firm of accountants who, as a result of continued growth and success within the business, are currently looking to recruit an ambitious Personal Tax Semi Senior to join the team in their Chelmsford office

As a Personal Tax Semi Senior your role will involve working with a wide variety of personal tax clients including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns.

The ideal candidate may be ATT Part Qualified or Fully Qualified and will have a wealth of experience in Personal Tax work, either from a solely tax focused role or from a mixed accounts and tax position.

Working within this established firm in Chelmsford there will be ample scope for career development as well as study support for the successful individual to pursue the CTA qualification should they desire it.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Management of a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
  • Preparation of personal tax computations and returns
  • Reviewing tax computations prepared by accounts staff when required
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts

Skills

  • ATT Qualified / Part Qualified
  • Personal Tax compliance experience within a practice environment
