We’re working with a leading Top 20 accountancy practice in Newport who are seeking a Mixed Tax Senior to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, business owners, landlords, and trusts, delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied and interesting client portfolio, working closely with both corporate and private clients. Your role will include:
- Managing a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients, ranging from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses to subsidiaries of large groups.
- Overseeing clients’ tax compliance affairs and providing day-to-day client management.
- Advising on a wide range of tax matters, including ad hoc advisory projects across your client portfolio.
- Supporting Tax Assistants, working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

Skills & Experience
- Experience of personal tax compliance and advisory work across a varied client base.
- Experience of corporate tax compliance and advisory matters.
- CTA qualified is preferred, although candidates or qualified who are ATT qualified by experience will also be considered.
- Strong organisational and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and support the development of junior team members.
