Clark Wood have been instructed on an exceptionally rare opportunity for an experienced Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to join one of the region's accountancy & tax firms, based in Newbury, Berkshire. The main purpose of the role is to lead and develop the firm's Berkshire tax offering while maintaining a significant existing client portfolio. The type of work undertaken by the Team includes complex private client & business tax work for an interesting client base, tax enquiry work, and providing tax advisory support to HNWIs, trusts, family wealth, along with corporate and property transactions, advising on business restructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level advisory & planning services to a large existing portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients focusing on SMEs, OMBs, groups, partnerships & HNWIs.
  • Business Development and Networking: develop client services and grow tax portfolio.
  • Increase awareness & exposure of the firm's tax services.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CTA & or ACCA/ ACA Qualified.
  • Relevant experience of IHT and CGT planning, advising on residence and domicile.
  • Proven track record of Business Development.

The Newbury office is commutable from areas all across Berkshire, Oxfordshire & Hampshire, including Oxford, Reading, Basingstoke, Andover, Swindon, etc.
