Clark Wood have been instructed on an exceptionally rare opportunity, which offers the chance for an experienced Tax Senior Manager or Associate Director to join one of the UK's most respected national Top 20 firms. Our client is offering very flexible arrangements for agile working and working from home (WFH). There is a genuine opportunity to progress to partner at the firm, with a clearly defined pathway of development. This individual can be Mixed Tax, or have a focus on Private Client Tax, Corporate Tax, or Rewards/Share Schemes.

The main purpose of the role would be to lead and develop the firm's regional tax consultancy offering whilst maintaining a significant existing client portfolio. The type of work undertaken by the Team includes tax enquiry work, providing tax advisory support on corporate transactions, advising on business restructures, and providing specific tax advice on a range of matters to our corporate clients and High Net Worth individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level advisory & planning services to a large existing portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients focusing on SMEs, OMBs, groups, partnerships & HNWIs.
  • Business Development and Networking: develop client services and grow tax portfolio.
  • Increase awareness & exposure of the firm's tax services.

This local Swansea office is commutable from areas all over South Wales wider area; Neath, Llanelli, Port Talbot, and possibly Cardiff and much further afield due to the element of working from home.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CTA/ ACA Qualified
  • Relevant experience of IHT and CGT planning, advising on residence and domicile
  • Rewards/ Share Schemes exposure would be an advantage
  • Proven track record of Business Development
  • Experience within a Senior Manager/ Director level role
