Tax Recruitment Specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading regional firm of accountants & tax advisers who are keen to recruit a Mixed Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to join the growing tax consultancy team in their Reading, Berkshire office.
The type of work undertaken by the Team includes:
- Tax enquiry work
- Providing tax advisory support on corporate and property transactions
- Advising on business restructures
- Providing specific tax advice on a range of matters such as clearances, share schemes, SEIS/EIS investments, exit planning, R&D, and capital allowances
- Private client advice focusing on tax residence status, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trusts
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing complex personal, partnership, trust, and corporation tax returns
- Reviewing tax returns prepared by other members of the team
- Supporting the team with other tax filings throughout the year including P11d’s, PSAs, ATED, Form 42, and EMI40 returns
The ideal candidate will be ATT Qualified, or Newly CTA or ACA Qualified and will have relevant managerial skills as well as sound mixed tax knowledge and technical expertise. This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing Senior or Assistant Manager to develop their skills and career within a leading independent firm.
The Reading office is commutable from areas all across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, and Buckinghamshire: Newbury, Oxford, Slough, Basingstoke, Bracknell, Farnborough, etc.
