Clark Wood has been instructed on a rare opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager to join a prominent accountancy and tax firm in Central Manchester. This role involves leading and developing the firm's tax offering while managing a significant existing client portfolio. Great chance to focus on advisory work.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and Development: Lead and grow the tax team in the Manchester office.
- Client Management: Maintain and expand a substantial client portfolio, including SMEs, OMBs, groups, partnerships, and HNWIs.
- Tax Advisory: Provide high-level advisory and planning services, covering private client and business tax work, tax enquiry work, tax advisory support to HNWIs, trusts, family wealth, corporate and property transactions, and business restructures.
- Business Development: Actively develop client services, grow the tax portfolio, and increase the firm's tax service exposure through networking and business development activities.
Requirements
- Qualifications: CTA and/or ACCA/ACA qualified.
- Experience: Relevant experience in IHT and CGT planning, and advising on residence and domicile issues.
- Track Record: Proven success in business development and growing client portfolios.
