Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of a corporate tax team.
- Client Management: Manage a diverse and substantial portfolio of clients including OMBs, SMEs, multinationals, and listed companies.
- Business Growth: Work closely with partners to expand the corporate tax practice, helping to shape and implement growth strategies.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical support across various corporate tax issues such as R&D tax credits, patent box claims, capital allowances, group restructures, M&A, exit planning, succession planning, transfer pricing, and other cross-border taxes.
- Client Interaction: Engage confidently with entrepreneurial clients, providing high-quality professional advice and support.
Requirements
- Qualifications: ACA and/or CTA qualified.
- Experience: Extensive experience in corporate tax planning and advisory at a senior manager or director level.
- Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of UK corporate tax issues and a broad range of tax matters.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing a team and delivering high standards of professional work.
- Commercial Acumen: Commercially minded with the ability to handle a challenging and varied client portfolio.
- Collaboration: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with partners.
