Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading UK advisory and accountancy group who are looking to recruit a Creative Sector Tax Senior / Assistant Manager to join their growing specialist tax team. This firm supports the SME market with a full service offering including Audit, Accounts & Advisory, Tax, Payroll, Corporate Finance and Business Recovery. With a strong values‐led culture and an excellent reputation for specialist advisory services, the firm offers outstanding long‐term progression and exposure to high‐profile, complex client work.
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded Creative Sector Tax team working closely with specialist audit and general practice teams, delivering compliance and advisory services to an impressive portfolio of creative/media clients.
Role Responsibilities- Delivering creative sector tax compliance and tax relief claims
- Undertaking technical research and producing clear advisory outputs
- Advising clients on creative industry tax reliefs and structuring productions to maximise reliefs
- Supporting clients with wider tax advisory matters including incentives, capital raising, international tax and restructures
- Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and coaching/developing team members
- Supporting business development activities such as insight publications and new client proposals
- Professionally qualified (CTA / ACA or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in a UK practice environment
- Recent experience dealing with Film / TV tax relief claims is essential
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills
- Comfortable in a client‐facing role with dynamic creative/media clients
- A collaborative team player with strong technical curiosity and attention to detail
