Clark Wood are currently working with a highly regarded UK accountancy and advisory firm who are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior to join their growing Business Tax team based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forwardâthinking and peopleâfocused practice that is known for delivering highâquality compliance and advisory services to a broad client base, including ownerâmanaged businesses, large corporates, and international groups.
As a Corporate Tax Senior, you will be involved in the preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returns, as well as supporting a range of advisory projects. You will work closely with managers and partners, contributing to tax planning assignments such as:
- Capital allowances reviews
- Succession planning
- Profit extraction strategies
- Employee incentivisation
You will build strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact on dayâtoâday tax matters, and will collaborate with colleagues across audit, accounts, and advisory teams to deliver a joinedâup service. In addition, you will support and mentor junior team members, helping to maintain high technical and service standards within the department.
The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified and/or ATT or CTA qualified (or close to completion), with solid experience in UK corporate tax gained within an accountancy practice. You will have strong communication skills, good organisational ability, and a proactive, clientâfocused approach. Experience with advisory work and interpreting financial accounts would be advantageous.
