Why This Role?
This is a rare opportunity to work at the centre of the music and entertainment industry, advising a portfolio of high‑profile and emerging talent. From touring artists and producers to management companies and creatives, you’ll gain exposure to a genuinely exciting client base while developing your technical and advisory skills. If you’re looking to step away from a traditional, corporate‑heavy portfolio and move into something more dynamic and people‑focused, this offers exactly that.
The Role
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of clients across the entertainment sector, combining compliance with advisory work and building strong, long‑term relationships.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a portfolio of music & entertainment clients (artists, DJs, producers, creatives)
- Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns
- Advising on areas such as royalties, touring income, and international tax considerations
- Supporting on tax planning and advisory projects
- Liaising directly with HMRC
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or part‑qualified
- Strong mixed tax experience (personal & corporate)
- Experience with media, entertainment, or HNW clients is beneficial but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills—able to build relationships with a diverse client base
- Proactive, organised, and commercially aware
What’s in It for You:
- Work with high‑profile and creative clients in a unique sector
- A more personal, relationship‑driven portfolio
- Clear progression and development opportunities
- Hybrid working and flexible culture
- Competitive salary and benefits
The Environment
You’ll be joining a collaborative, forward‑thinking firm that values personality as much as technical ability. The culture is supportive, down‑to‑earth, and far removed from the rigid structure of larger practices.
This role is ideal for candidates with relevant experience in a UK accountancy practice. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
