Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a fast-growing and highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants in Liverpool who are looking to recruit a Mixed Tax Senior to join their expanding tax team.
The Role
- Manage a diverse portfolio including high-net-worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, landlords, trusts and corporate clients, with responsibilities including:
- Managing a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
- Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns
- Overseeing clients’ tax compliance affairs and acting as a key point of contact
- Advising clients on a range of tax matters and ad hoc advisory projects
- Identifying and supporting tax planning opportunities
- Liaising with clients and HMRC on tax-related matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team
About You
- CTA Qualified preferred; ATT Qualified or Qualified by Experience also considered
- Strong experience across both personal and corporate tax
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Exposure to both tax compliance and advisory work
- Confident managing client relationships independently
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Collaborative approach with the ability to support junior team members
