Clark Wood is working with a leading tax practice in Leeds seeking an experienced Personal Tax Director to help lead and grow its established private client team.
This is a senior, client-facing opportunity with an established portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and family groups, providing immediate client engagement and scope to make a significant impact.
The Role
- Leading multidisciplinary tax advisory and planning projects.
- Advising high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and families.
- Managing key client relationships and leading client meetings.
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering commercially focused advice.
- Working with partners and specialists to deliver technically robust solutions.
- Providing technical support on complex compliance matters.
- Managing WIP, recoveries and billing across your portfolio.
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Developing business and building intermediary relationships across Leeds and Yorkshire.
About You
- Strong technical expertise across personal taxation.
- Extensive experience delivering complex advisory work.
- Experience working with entrepreneurs, OMBs, business owners and family businesses.
- The ability to manage issues spanning personal and corporate tax.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members.
- A commercial approach to business development and networking.
