Are you an experienced Private Client and Personal Tax professional looking for a role offering genuine career progression? Situated in Edinburgh City Centre, this well-known accountancy firm is currently recruiting for a technically strong Private Client Tax Manager. The role would suit either a qualified Manager looking to take their next step, or someone already working in a supervisory/managerial position. The firm has a growing client base driven by good marketing work and a high number of referrals.
Responsibilities
- Manage a private client portfolio, focusing on self-assessment tax returns and advisory services.
- Supervise Tax Seniors and Trainees, providing guidance and reviewing their work.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives and training programs.
- Support Tax Partners and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and participate in marketing activities.
Ideal Candidate
ATT or CTA Qualified with at least 5 years' experience in Personal Tax within a practice environment.
Location
The Edinburgh City office is commutable from areas such as: Musselburgh, Livingston, Dunbar, Linlithgow, North Berwick etc.
