Corporate Tax Senior Hull Β£38,000 β Β£42,000
Accountancy Practice and Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with an extremely well-regarded firm of chartered accountants who are now looking to recruit an experienced and driven Corporate Tax Senior to join the tax team in their Hull office.
As a Corporate Tax Senior, your role will see you having responsibility for your own diverse portfolio of clients which will include businesses from an array of industry sectors including property and the motor industry among others. You will work with a variety of clients including stand-alone limited companies and group structured businesses.
Whilst the role will be focused towards compliance work, there will be plenty of scope for the successful individual to gain exposure to tax planning and advisory work, working closely with Management and Partners on advisory projects.
The successful candidate will enjoy a challenging and varied role and will be involved in the provision of all aspects of corporate tax compliance for their designated clients.
As a senior within the team, you will also have involvement with supervising and assisting in the development of more junior staff, and reviewing the work of non-tax focused team members.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience of working in either a solely corporate tax focused role, or in a mixed tax role where the weighting has been primarily towards corporation tax.

- Company Tax Return preparation
- Reviewing Company Tax Returns prepared by other members of the practice
- Assisting non tax specialist colleagues with tax queries
- Preparation of reports and providing assistance with ad-hoc tax planning advice
