Are you an experienced ACA & or CTA Qualified Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager looking for a genuine forward step in your career at a large national practice in the High Wycombe area? Our client is looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Planning/Advisory Specialist at Manager or Senior Manager level who has the potential to further develop the corporate tax offering. This is an opportunity to take control and grow an already significant portfolio of Corporate clients, OMBs, SMEs, multinational & some listed clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of a corporate tax team.
- Grow and develop the Corporate Tax offering and portfolio of clients.
- Work closely with Partners to shape the team’s growth strategy.
- Provide technical lead and high-standard professional work across a broad range of tax issues (R&D credits, patent box, capital allowances, group restructures, M&A, exit & succession planning, transfer pricing and cross-border taxes).
- Maintain a commercial focus, build entrepreneurial client relationships, and provide technical backup to partners.
Qualifications
- ACA and/or CTA qualified Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager.
- Extensive experience managing a team and delivering high-standard professional work.
- Thorough understanding of UK corporate tax issues.
- Experience with R&D tax credits, patent box, capital allowances, group restructures, M&A, exit/succession planning, transfer pricing and cross-border taxes.
- Commercially minded with an entrepreneurial client base.
The High Wycombe office is commutable from areas all over Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Middlesex.
