Overview
Corporate Tax Associate Director or Director β Reading
Are you an experienced ACA &/or CTA Qualified Corporate Tax Associate Director or Director looking for a genuine forward step in your career at a large national practice in the Reading, Berkshire area?
There is genuine opportunity to progress to partner at the firm, with a clear defined pathway of development.
Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of a team, growing the Corporate Tax offering, and working closely with the other Partners; autonomy to help shape the teamβs growth strategy.
- Grow and manage a significant portfolio of Corporate clients, including OMBs, SMEs, multinational and some listed clients.
- Deliver a very high standard of professional work across a broad range of UK corporate tax issues, including R&D tax credits, patent box claims, capital allowances, group restructures, M&A, exit planning and succession planning, transfer pricing and other cross-border taxes.
- Provide technical back-up to the partners and act with commercial acumen when dealing with entrepreneurial clients.
- Take on overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the team and contribute to developing the corporate tax offering with a defined pathway toward partnership.
Qualifications
- Experienced Corporate Tax Planning/Advisory Specialist at Senior Manager or Director level with potential to further develop the corporate tax offering.
- Excellent technical skills and thorough understanding of UK corporate tax issues.
- Experience in managing a team and delivering high-standard work to a varied portfolio of clients.
The local Reading office is commutable from areas across Berkshire & Hampshire such as Newbury, Slough, Swindon, Oxford, Bracknell, Maidenhead, etc.
