Clark Wood have been instructed on a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager with a leading firm of accountants in Winnersh, Berkshire. This role would ideally suit a Corporate focussed CTA, ATT, ACA or ACCA Qualified Corporate Tax Senior/Assistant Manager with a solid compliance background who is looking to work for a leading regional firm and develop their advisory experience.
The role will involve working closely with Manager/Senior overseeing a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients and taking the lead in running their corporate tax cycle from start to finish. As well as assisting with ad hoc tax projects for clients, such as restructuring initiatives, mergers, and acquisitions, by providing tax analysis and support to senior team members.
The main client base for this role would be Owner Managed Businesses, Small to Medium Enterprises and the Directors, Partners, and some Private Clients. The ideal candidate must have good technical skills and experience, and have a thorough understanding of UK tax issues such as restructures & demergers.
The team deals with a broad range of tax issues, including reconstructions and demergers, share schemes and EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, patent box claims, M&A, exit planning, and succession planning. Provide high-level advisory & planning services with a great deal of autonomy.
