A leading South West Law firm is looking to appoint a Private Client Manager to join its growing Private Client team, based in either Exeter or Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client tax professional to join a highly regarded team specialising in trusts, estates and personal tax compliance.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior specialists across a broad portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts and estates, delivering high quality advisory and compliance support across income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of trusts, estates and private clients
- Preparing and reviewing trust and personal tax returns
- Providing support on inheritance tax and capital gains tax matters
- Assisting with estate administration and trust compliance
About You
- CTA, ATT or STEP qualified – STEP qualification preferred
- Strong experience in private client tax compliance
- Knowledge of trusts, estates, income tax, CGT and IHT
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members would be advantageous

- Role can be based in Exeter or Bristol, with occasional travel to Exeter required for Bristol based candidates
- Hybrid working model with flexibility around office attendance (typically 2–3 days per week)
