Accounts & Audit Senior - Oswestry
Clark Wood are working with an established accountancy practice who are looking to strengthen their growing Audit & Accounts team with the addition of an Accounts & Audit Senior in their Oswestry office.
The role will involve working with a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors, undertaking a mix of accounts preparation, audit and business tax work.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing accounts from incomplete records.
- Working with accounting software including Xero, Sage and Quick Books.
- Preparing business tax computations.
- Liaising with clients and HMRC.
- Attending client premises to undertake accounting and audit assignments.
- Working closely with Managers, Directors and Partners to ensure deadlines are met.
The ideal candidate
- Will have experience in a similar accounts and audit role within practice.
- Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified, although part-qualified, AAT qualified and newly qualified candidates will also be considered.
- Will have good technical knowledge and strong communication skills.
- Will be organised, proactive and comfortable dealing directly with clients.
