Audit & Accounts Senior – High Wycombe

Clark Wood is working with a highly reputable - large regional firm - in High Wycombe seeking an experienced ACA/ACCA qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to join its expanding team.

This is a varied, client-facing role offering a strong mix of audit, accounts, tax and business advisory work, with exposure to SMEs, OMBs, charities, AIM-listed businesses and international groups.

Responsibilities

• Planning and leading audit assignments from initial scoping through to completion.




• Assessing audit risks, materiality and designing appropriate testing programmes.




• Completing fieldwork and documenting key findings and judgements.




• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for companies, groups, partnerships and LLPs.




• Preparing Corporation Tax computations and CT600 returns.




• Acting as an adviser to owner-managed businesses on accounts and business matters.




• Reviewing junior team members' work and supporting their development.




• Managing client relationships, budgets and deadlines.




• Working collaboratively with other teams, including Corporate Tax, to provide a joined-up service.

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualification.




• Proven audit experience from planning through to completion.




• Strong accounts preparation and tax experience.




• Excellent technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.




• Experience working with SMEs, OMBs and larger or international groups.




• Strong client management and communication skills.




• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments.




• A commercial, proactive and collaborative approach.




• Experience with CCH Accounts Production and audit software would be advantageous.




• Experience with consolidated accounts and IFRS would be beneficial.
