The Role
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Managing audit fieldwork and ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard.
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and supporting their development.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Identifying improvements to clients' internal controls and accounting systems.
- Assisting with accounts preparation and wider advisory projects where required.
The Candidate
- ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified with strong audit experience.
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Confident managing audit assignments and working directly with clients.
- Good technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
