Accounts Senior Manager
Keighley
£65,000 - £80,000 per annum
Clark Wood is working with a well-established accountancy practice near Keighley that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Client Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with significant UK practice experience to take on a senior role with responsibility for a varied client portfolio, team supervision and senior-level client relationships.
The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified, with at least 15 years' recent experience within a UK accountancy practice. You will be confident managing client relationships, reviewing work and supervising a team of accountants.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and developing a portfolio of clients
- Acting as a senior point of contact for clients
- Supervising and supporting a team of at least four accountants
- Reviewing team members' work and maintaining high standards
- Preparing company and personal tax returns
- Preparing management accounts
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies
- Attending client meetings and carrying out client visits
- Managing workloads, deadlines and ad-hoc projects
Candidate Profile
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
- Minimum 15 years' recent experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Excellent technical knowledge across a range of business structures
- Good knowledge of accounting software; CCH, Sage and Xero advantageous
