Our core client base consists of Accountancy Practices ranging from Big 4, Top 10 & Mid-Tier firms through to independent regional firms and sole traders.

We are partnering with a highly reputable firm of accountants in Stoke who, due to continued growth and success, are now seeking an ambitious Personal Tax Semi Senior to join their Stoke office.

As a Personal Tax Semi Senior, you will work with a diverse range of personal tax clients, including HNWIs, company directors, and sole traders. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and efficient completion of compliance work through the preparation of personal tax computations and returns.

The ideal candidate will be ATT Part Qualified or Fully Qualified, with significant experience in Personal Tax. This experience can come from a solely tax-focused role or from a mixed accounts and tax position with a desire to specialise in tax.

Working in this progressive and well-regarded Stoke based firm, you will have ample opportunities for career development. The firm offers study support for the successful candidate to complete the ATT and progress to the CTA qualification and can offer hybrid working to assist with a good work life balance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Management of a small portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
  • Preparation of personal tax computations and returns
  • Reviewing tax computations prepared by accounts staff when required
  • Exposure to preparing trust tax returns
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts

Skills:

  • ATT Qualified / Part Qualified
  • Personal Tax compliance experience within a practice environment
