Accounts Manager / Client Manager – Stoke-on-Trent£55,000 - £70,000 + Hybrid Working + Benefits
Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Manager / Client Manager to join a leading accountancy firm in Stoke-on-Trent.
The role would suit an ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE Accountant with previous practice experience and experience managing a client portfolio.
The Role
- Manage a portfolio of OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients
- Act as the main point of contact for clients
- Review statutory accounts and Corporation Tax computations
- Provide accounting and commercial business advice
- Manage workflow, deadlines and client deliverables
- Review junior work and support team development
- Work with Partners on client management and business development
- Identify opportunities to provide additional services
About You
- ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE
- Previous accountancy practice experience
- Experience managing a client portfolio
- Strong accounts preparation knowledge
- Experience with OMBs and SMEs
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Experience with Xero or QuickBooks advantageous
