Accounts & Audit Semi Senior – Brentwood (Salary: £26,000 – £32,000)
Clark Wood, a specialist recruitment consultancy within the Public Practice Accountancy and Tax sectors, is seeking an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join a dynamic and forward‑thinking accountancy firm in Brentwood.
As an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior you will handle accounts preparation, tax compliance, and audit assignments. The role offers exposure to a broad range of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies
- Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships
- Prepare corporation tax returns and personal tax returns
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit assignments
- Conduct audit fieldwork and work closely with senior auditors to complete audits efficiently
- Provide support to clients on accounting and tax matters
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will have varied general practice experience, including assisting on audit assignments. You should hold either the AAT qualification or be studying toward the ACA or ACCA qualifications.
