Accounts Assistant Manager – Accountancy Practice

£42,000 - £48,000
Clark Wood are working with a well-established and growing independent firm of accountants in Hatfield who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their team.
The firm has a strong reputation and continues to grow organically, offering a supportive environment where ambitious individuals can develop their careers.
Working closely with the senior team, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients and play an important role in the delivery of accounts and tax work.
You'll be involved in:
Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns.
Managing a portfolio of clients and dealing with day-to-day queries.
Building strong relationships with clients.
Reviewing work and supporting junior members of the team.
Assisting with more complex assignments and advisory work.
Supporting the continued growth and development of the practice.
You will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience, with good experience gained within an accountancy practice.
You'll be confident dealing with clients, have good technical skills and be keen to take the next step in your career.
We're looking for someone ambitious, personable and commercially minded, with the potential to progress into a more senior role.
