Senior Accounts Manager – Thornbury
£45,000 to £55,000 + Benefits + Career Progression
Clark Wood are recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to join a respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Thornbury.
The role would suit an ACA/ACCA qualified Accounts Manager or Client Manager looking for a senior leadership role, with a potential pathway to Director.
You’ll lead an established OMB team, manage a varied client portfolio and work closely with Partners on the growth of the practice.
The Role
- Leading and developing the OMB accounts team
- Managing a portfolio of OMBs, SMEs and entrepreneurial clients
- Acting as a key client contact
- Reviewing statutory and management accounts
- Reviewing tax compliance work
- Providing commercial accounting advice
- Managing workflow, deadlines and quality
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff
- Working with Partners on advisory and practice development
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong UK accountancy practice experience
- Previous Accounts Manager / Client Manager experience
- Strong accounts, tax and advisory knowledge
- Proven team leadership experience
- Excellent client and communication skills
- Commercial approach with the ability to advise business owners
