Senior Accounts Technician – Huntingdon
Clark Wood are recruiting for a Senior Accounts Technician to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Huntingdon.
The role would suit an AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or experienced practice accountant looking to progress their career.
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of SMEs, limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, covering accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and client support.
The Role
- Preparing year-end accounts
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Bookkeeping and cloud accounting
- Dealing with client queries
- Reviewing junior team members' work
- Assisting with management accounts and forecasting
- Supporting Managers and Partners with client work
- Managing your own portfolio and deadlines
About You
- AAT Level 4, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or QBE
- Previous UK accountancy practice experience
- Strong accounts, VAT and bookkeeping knowledge
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Good client communication skills
- Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
