CRS are working with a well-established specialist contractor to recruit an experienced Estimator for their Falkirk-based commercial team. This role suits an Estimator with a construction or specialist contracting background who is confident pricing works, preparing tenders, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Estimator responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates for construction and enabling works
- Reviewing drawings, specs, and tender information
- Completing quantity take-offs and pricing schedules
- Sourcing and comparing subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Producing cost breakdowns to support tenders
- Supporting bids from enquiry to award
Estimator requirements:
- Experience as an Estimator within construction or specialist contracting
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
- Proven tendering and estimating experience
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
- Good communication and IT skills
