CRS are currently assisting our Plant Hire Equipment client in sourcing a full-time Mobile Fitter to join the existing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable plant hire company that offers great working conditions, a well-kept workshop, and a good team of workers. Company vans are available for this role, including a fuel card and mobile.
The successful fitter will be on the road to service equipment hired to local clients throughout the central belt, looking after plant hire equipment including various excavators and diggers.
Requirements:
- Full UK licence required to be considered
- Previous employment experience in a workshop or mobile fitter capacity is highly desired
- Applicants must have a CSCS Card (or equivalent)
- Experience with Engine Diagnostics, Hydraulic and Electric systems
- Experience in Fabrication / Stick Welding / Mig welding would be advantageous
- Confident reading hydraulic diagrams / diagnostics and using a flow meter
- Read electrical schematics, diagnose electrical problems
Duties:
- Assist with the maintenance and mobile site support of a large fleet of up to 80 machines, excavators and diggers
Hours of work: 7.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Overtime at time and a half / double time. Overtime available.
Pay: £18.00-£21.00 per hour DOE
Expected hours: 50 per week
