Hybrid working, salary up to £50k! A leading mid Kent Insurance broker are looking for an Insurance professional with extensive and specialist Motor Fleet Insurance experience to head up this niche department. The company offers clients a great service and enjoys 95% retention.

Location: Kent/home based

Role And Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining the best possible terms for clients and working with insurers to place renewals and ad-hoc re-broking cases in relation to unique requirements.
  • Administration; creating quotation documents, setting up client records, issuing documents to clients, checking proposal forms, diary management, accurate telephone notes and so forth.
  • Ensure that the sales process is completed and compliant with the regulatory framework.
  • Assisting other members of the team with technical queries.
  • Placement of some new business (Cross sales).
  • Discuss lapse lists with a member of the renewals lapse review team each month and implement changes if necessary.
  • Great communication skills to develop relationships with underwriters.

Skills Required:

  • Technical and commercial insurance knowledge including Motor Fleet policies.
  • Confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
  • Ideally knowledge and understanding of Acturis management operating system.
  • Some CII qualifications would be preferred but not essential.
