Insurance Sales Account Handler / Broker – Clark James Insurance Recruitment are working with an expanding, successful Insurance Broker who have a new opportunity within their Commercial Motor Insurance sales team.

We are looking for candidates with Insurance sales experience, perhaps someone within Personal Lines who is looking to progress into Commercial Insurance or someone with Motor Fleet and Commercial Motor experience.

The role will be office based and dealing with new business enquiries, speaking to the client to work out what covers are needed and then broking to the market and negotiating with Underwriters – this is a proper Insurance broker not a call centre!

You will also be familiar with Insurance administration, creating quotations, setting up computer records, issuing documentation and you will develop a strong understanding of systems and policy wordings.

The role will very much evolve as you train and develop and you will be able to gain your CII certificates with a view to being a fully fledged Account Executive…this really is a great opportunity and very rare in this current climate.

You will be a good telephone communicator, motivated to succeed and achieve targets with a flair for sales in order to maximise your earning potential.

Competitive salary and generous commission for meeting targets will significantly increase the take home pay, this will be regularly reviewed.
