Have you been working in Insurance broking, underwriting or account handling and looking for a new challenge with a slightly unusual role in Commercial Insurance? The role focuses on placing commercial and personal lines business on behalf of network brokers, acting as a key support function to ensure risks are placed efficiently and effectively in the market. This is a successful and prestigious Insurance business office based in the Bromley area with low staff turnover and excellent training and prospects. Duties * Respond to broker queries and placement requests promptly, professionally, and in line with agreed SLAs. * Take full ownership of broker enquiries and quotation requests, adopting a proactive “can-do” approach to resolution. * Provide technical guidance and market insight to support brokers with both commercial and personal lines placements. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with network brokers, ensuring consistent engagement and high levels of satisfaction. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all broker interactions and activity on internal systems. * Arrange and conduct regular meetings with brokers (virtual, telephone, or face-to-face where appropriate). Requirements * Proven experience in Commercial or personal lines insurance or related Insurance administration roles. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with broker clients * Solid understanding of FCA compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks. * Strong technical knowledge of insurance products, insurer market appetite and market practices. * Experience using Acturis (ideally) and/or familiarity with broking and insurer systems.
