Responsibilities
- Duties include: building as part of a team to carry out extensions, renovations and loft conversions, undertaking all aspects of building from footings, brickwork, studwork, plaster boarding, carpentry and general building tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Must be able to perform carpentry, roofing, brickwork, footings along with second fix finish work.
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety guidelines, building regulations and to a high standard.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate project activities.
- Maintain a good working mentality to complement the existing team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a builder in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
