Contracts Manager – Maintenance (Insurance & Reinstatement)
Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing and Maintenance.
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead and deliver high-quality services across our projects within our Maintenance Division with a focus on insurance & reinstatement. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a busy, growing team, drive performance, and play a key part in shaping the success of our business.
Role & Responsibilities
- Raising of new job
- Making survey appointments
- Updating of client portal and appointing other contractors
- Raising/submission of scope of works, all photos and back up details
- Processing of authorisations when received
- Submitting excess invoices to clients
- Submitting of material details to client
- Procurement of materials/sub-contractors
- Raise programme of works/booking out labour
- Updates to clients on claim status on regular basis through job process/dealing with day to day issues on each job
- Managing, motivating and communicating to operatives.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements.
- Monthly cost reporting on each job
- Submission of variations/substantiations
- Completion of repairs, finalisation of scope of repairs, sign off by client, submission of invoices
- Fully embrace the companies Customers 1st campaign to continually improve the way we deal with our customers.
The Candidate
- Have an excellent understanding of Microsoft Project and Office packages.
- Have a high level of Health & Safety Awareness.
- Have excellent Communication Skills.
- Be able to demonstrate strong IT skills and contract administration skills.
- Be able to demonstrate that they can meet programme dates.
- Be able to take a project right from estimate to invoicing.
