Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing, and Maintenance. We employ over 280 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Labourer to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the delivery of construction projects, where you will play an important part in ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Previous labouring experience within a construction environment would be advantageous. However, consideration will also be given to candidates who can demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn, as full training can be provided for the right individual.
- Carry out general labouring duties on construction sites and within occupied properties.
- Assist tradespeople and site teams with day-to-day activities as required.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring work areas remain safe, clean, and organised.
- Assist with the day-to-day delivery of construction projects, providing support to site teams across a variety of tasks to help ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Demonstrate a professional and courteous approach when interacting with customers.
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures and site rules at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Hold a valid CSCS card (preferred but not essential, depending on experience).
